Alphaspeed Midwest was established in October 2017 as a remote tune dealer for Alphaspeed. I quickly became interested in ECU research and development, then testing. This would eventually lead into E85 research and the initial implementation on my personal BK1 Genesis Coupe. After I purchased a BK2 3.8 Coupe, I began testing E85 on it as well. The results spoke for themselves, as the car is currently the quickest and fastest NA Genesis Coupe on record with a best 1/8 mile of 8.006@88.24MPH. This was achieved with 100% stock internals/displacement and very basic modifications: long tube headers, CAI, gears, and an E85 tune.

On top of tuning and ECU research, product development was the next step. After rigorous track testing to ensure durability, a series of E85 Fuel Line Conversion kits for Genesis Coupes was released. Ethanol Content Displays are also slated for release in the coming months.

Tuning services are not limited to the Genesis Coupe platform. We're able to tune many Hyundai/Kia vehicles on the stock ECU, as well as other manufacturers such as Honda, Nissan, and GM.
